Lash Retention 101: Sprays and Mists

𝘞𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘩𝘺𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘯, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘩𝘺𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘢𝘯𝘴 🙈⁠⁠

Our beautiful lash fans are affected by the products we use on our face, sprays and mists (aka. makeup setting sprays, hydrating mists etc) force our fluffy lash babies to stick closed and give our lashes an oily slick look. Many of these products also contain oils; oil-based products break down adhesive bonds, causing lash extensions to pop off prematurely, which could be a reason why they just aren’t lasting!⁠⁠

If you’re someone who is looking after your lashes, cleansing every day and going for regular infill’s but still losing more lashes than you should be, then your beauty products might be to blame.⁠⁠

If you can’t say bye-bye to your beautiful hydrating mists or spray toners, a few suggestions are:
- Cover your eyes/eyelashes with your hands and then spray your face
- I spray my toner into my finger tips and then rub onto my face!
